U02C2 — Scenarios: returns example + checklist
U02C2 — One more example + a checklist
Continues U02C1 — same skill (clear answers), with a shop returns example. Then a short checklist before you send, and what to do when some data is missing.
By the end, you will be able to:
- Follow a second simple example.
- Use a short checklist before you send an answer.
- Know what to do if some data is missing.
1. Example — too many returns
Your boss says: “Too many customers are returning products. Fix it.”
2. Checklist — use it before you send
- ☐ Your question in one sentence
- ☐ Where the numbers came from (and the dates)
- ☐ One clear finding with a number
- ☐ One clear next step
- ☐ Who will do it
- ☐ When to check again
3. If some data is missing
- Say it. Tell people what is missing.
- Still help if the rest is enough — and note the gap.
- If it is not enough, say “we need the full data first.”
- Never make up numbers.
4. Quick check — good or not?
| Answer | Good? |
|---|---|
| A huge file with no summary | No |
| “One shoe causes most returns — check the size guide.” | Yes |
| A nice chart but no advice | No |
5. What comes next
U03 shows where data lives and how it moves before it reaches you.
Next lesson is U03 — where data lives and how it moves. This lesson stays on clear answers and the checklist (no software yet).
